The Power Toilet Aid (PTA) is
designed to help individuals with muscle limitation due to injury or
disease. Many individuals with forms of multiple sclerosis, muscular
dystrophy, or myositis have found the PTA a very valuable tool for
maintaining their independence and privacy. The PTA will simply raise your
toilet seat up to 13" above your existing toilet height. It is powered by
a 12 volt rechargeable battery and will lift up to 400 pounds. The beauty
of the PTA is its simplicity and effectiveness. It attaches to your toilet
with no modification, professional installation is not needed and ships
via UPS fully assembled. The arm rests are strong enough to push against
yet will also flip out of the way for easy transfers to a wheelchair.

 STANDARD
PTA: The standard model attaches to
your toilet where your toilet seat is attached. You simply remove your
toilet seat so that the PTA can be secured to the toilet. Your toilet
seat can be mounted on the PTA frame. When placing an order, measure
your toilet height from the floor to the toilet bowl, not including
the seat. This measurement will be needed when you talk to your
Stand-Aid-of-Iowa representative.
MOBILE PTA: The Mobile PTA come
with 4 locking caster wheels, a waste container and toilet seat. It
work exactly like the standard model except it does not attach to the
toilet. It can be used over a toilet by locking the wheels in place.
Additionally, by sliding the waste container under the seat, the PTA
can be used as a bedside commode. You will also want to measure your
toilet height from the floor to the toilet bowl before placing an
order.

 The
PTA is also great for traveling, it is collapsible into a
9"x40"x22" package and will adapt to most toilets. |

The
Power Toilet Aid (PTA) is power toilet
lift designed for individuals with musculo-skeletal
or neuromuscular limitations due to disease
or injury. The user will transfer to the PTA, lower
the seat down to the toilet with a touch of a
button and back up again when finished. It will
lift the user approximately 13� about toilet
height, bringing them to a standing position.
The Power Toilet Aid will help reduce stress on
the knee and hip joints and is safe and comfortable for the user.
Another benefit of the PTA is
reduced potential of back injuries among
attendants caused by lifting patients. The PTA
is easy to use; a lift switch is mounted for
fingertip toilet heights and is available in regular
and mobile models.
