Why do schools
use this stander? |
|
A. |
(1)Kids who are
disabled can stand when other kids are standing, and sit when other kids
are sitting (without transferring back to their wheelchair) (2)The desk
is accessible in every position from sitting to standing. A Tilt-Table
desk is available too, for special activities. (3)The EasyStand
encourages inclusion because the child can be at peer level with their
friends. (4)The transfers are safe an easy for both the child and the
teacher. (5)It allows the teacher to simultaneously achieve more than
one IEP goal, such as standing while reading, etc. (6)It is playful and
fun (doesn't look rigid or institutional), and user-friendly. (7)The
EasyStand brings a smile to the childs face because it is fun to stand!
(8)Adjustments are easy to make so that lots of kids can use it if
needed. (9)It is easier for the child to reach high things when
standing- like shooting baskets in Phy Ed! (10)Standing is fun for the
child!

Can I convert my
Magician-ei into a Mobile Magician-ei? |
|
A. |
No, they are 2
entirely different products. Also, when you buy the Magician Conversion
Kit, the Magician-ei can only grow in to the Magician, and the Mobile
Magician-ei can only grow into the Mobile Magician. If you want your
child to be able to use the Mobility feature down the road, you may want
to purchase the Mobile Magician-ei now, even if they cannot use the
Mobile feature yet. This way, it will convert into the Mobile Magician
when they are older and able to use the Mobile feature. Call us if you
