The Breeze – new stair lift technology

The Breeze is based on the same reliable and proven concepts that have established a strong reputation and record for Butler Mobility over four decades. However, it benefits further from belt drive technology. This technology is unique to the industry and delivers an unsurpassed level of quiet and comfortable operation.

Revolutionary belt drive technology

Our new belt drive utilizes Kevlar^® brand fiber to provide unsurpassed lightweight strength, ensuring the dependability and low maintenance that Butler’s Stair-lifts are renowned for. Above all, the belt drive replaces all rack and pinion engineering to provide a quieter, smoother and more comfortable ride than ever before.

The Breeze is battery operated with a DC motor; providing the safety and flexibility of operation during a power outage. It requires only a standard residential 110-volt power supply.

Further operational safety

Like all Butler Stairlifts, The Breeze meets or exceeds the requirements of the Government’s National Safety Code for Private Residence and Public Building Incline Lifts. A specially-designed cut-off safety switch renders The Breeze inoperative and indicates that service is necessary.

A foot-operated call button is conveniently located at the top and bottom of the unit, so the stairlift can be accessed in all circumstances and can be used by more than one person. The controls are also safely within reach and easy to operate. Ergonomic design of the seat, arms and footrest, as well as a lap-positioned restraint belt, are the other contributory factors to operational safety.

 

The Breeze offers the same high-quality, ergonomic seating configuration as the Imperial Elite.

Comfort and convenience

Butler Stairlifts are fully adjustable to provide ergonomic comfort and safe operation at all times. The seat height and position of the foot rest are designed for easy access and ride comfort. The seat itself is upholstered with generously padded material and when not in use, both seat and footrest fold so the entire unit takes up only 14 inches of stair width.

Installation and service

The Breeze is designed to install quickly and easily on a wide variety of stair configurations – varying in length, steepness and direction. It is also interchangeable between left and right side installation.
