VERTRAN does not sacrifice comfort for stability. We’ve studied standing positions in standing wheelchairs and standing frames to analyze the causes of user-identified discomfort and fatigue. To alleviate discomfort and fatigue that can be associated with standing devices, VERTRAN’s design directs a person’s weight to their heels creating optimum standing posture. The knee brace supports the legs during standing and sitting to enable lasting comfort in any position. The knee support, angled seat support, arm rests and chest strap work together to enhance stability and ultimately, user confidence.
