The QuickieŽ Freestyle
delivers traditional rehab options such as C.G. tilt, rehab seating, and
specialty controls in a smaller, lighter, more maneuverable midwheel-drive
package. A compact footprint, special "Overland Suspension", four
shroud-colors, and two base-sizes (mini and full), make the Quickie
Freestyle the perfect choice for individuals who prize comfort and
maneuverability in a rehab power chair.
Outdoor
Performance
An independent all-wheel suspension and 3-bar linkage system are
integral parts of the Quickie Freestyle "Overland Suspension". This
system helps smooth curb-impact, prevent hi-centering, and dampen
the rebound on today's rugged street terrain. The Quickie Freestyle
is also one of the fastest chairs in its class.
Options
Power C.G. tilt, specialty controls, and rehab seating are just a
few of the options available on the Quickie Freestyle. They provide
dealers, therapists, and rehab specialists a wide range of choices
in meeting individual rehabilitation needs.
Ease of
Use
The Quickie Freestyle features one of the smallest footprints in the
industry for a midwheel-drive chair. This means that the Freestyle
can maneuver in tight confined living quarters and fit into small
storage spaces that larger mid-wheel drive chairs are unable to
manage.
Style,
Comfort, and Fit
Four different colored velcro-on side-shrouds ship with each chair
so that color changes can be made on a whim. Low seat-to-floor
height, adjustable seat and back angles, easy-to-reach on-board
charger, and quick no-tools adjustments are a few of the other
features that make the Quickie Freestyle comfortable and easy to
fit.
The Quickie
Freestyle has some of the lowest seat-to-floor heights in the
industry. The rehab-seat has a 15 ˝" STFH on the M11 model and a 17
˝" STFH on the F11 model. The C.G. tilt-seat has a 17 ˝" STFH on the
M11 model and an 19" STFH on the F11 model.
The Quickie
Freestyle features a true center-wheel drive design. By positioning
the drive axle directly under the user, the chair is able to
literally turn in place. This also makes driving the chair much more
intuitive.
A readi-align
caster attachment is available as an option. This feature bolts onto
the caster fork. If the chair approaches a curb at a sharp angle,
the readi-align caster attachment helps re-square the caster wheel
so it rides over the curb at a perpendicular angle.
The onboard
battery charger plugs into the front of the chair just under the
seat. This convenient location allows the user to plug in the
charger without leaving the chair.
The Quickie
Freestyle comes standard with a 50 amp controller and 20 amp boost.
This "boost" gives the chair an extra shot of power when moving over
a large objects or climbing steep angles.
The Quickie
Freestyle features two base sizes: the M11, a mini-size model
designed for K0011 HCPCS coding, and the F11, a full-size model also
designed for K0011 HCPCS coding.
