Q1: Will the lifter remain in the raised position when it is not in use?
A1: No, the seat will slowly lower from pressure, and water will seep from the drain hose.
Q2: Will the Tublift automatically swivel?
A2: No, it requires manual swivel action similar to that of a swivel chair.
Q3: If the Tublift will not go up or down, what should I do?
A3: The seal assembly inside the cylinder needs to be replaced.
Q4: Do the suction cups adapt to all tubs?
A4: No, the suction cups will adhere to smooth surfaces only. If the patient has a textured tub, the suction cups will NOT adhere.
Q5: Can the Tublift be installed if the patient's tub does not have a shower?
A5: Yes, the Tublift comes with both a shower diverter valve and a tub spout. If the tub has both a tub faucet and a shower installed, the shower adapter must be used in order to achieve the water pressure required for a lift.
